Beef Up Your Bus with a Crockpot!

Do you have counter space? You don’t need much! Crockpots come in all shapes and sizes, and depending on the number of roadies on the bus will determine the size you need.  Crockpots can be stabilized in your sink while you are traveling to keep things safe as you hit bumps.  You can enjoy a healthy meal while traveling!  Lunch is a great time to fuel up for the evening show!

Beef Stew (Super Simple)

  • 6 lbs beef round roast (1 lb per person)
  • 1 pkg Beef Stew packet (McCormick)
  • 2 Onions, quartered
  • 1 lb Baby Carrots
  • 12 New Potatoes
  • 1 cup Red Wine (doesn’t have to be an expensive bottle, but something you would drink!)
  • Water

Cube meat and toss with Beef Stew Packet.  Place on bottom of CrockPot. Layer with onions, potatoes and carrots.  Pour wine over top and fill with water.  Add remaining Beef Stew Packet.  Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6-10 hours.  Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal!
